These include the age of the person being treated, the length of their hair and the number of people being treated. The longer the hair and the more people being treated, the more product the customer will need to buy. Check individual packs for suitability and amounts required.
Choosing the right treatment

Further advice
- Detection combing should be carried out after treatment to check that it has been successful3
- Regular detection combing after successful treatment is a good way to keep head lice at bay
- If a customer is concerned that treatment hasn't worked, go over the pack instructions with them to make sure they have followed them correctly: incorrect application is a common reason for treatment failure. It is also important to check all members of the household as well as close friends and family in order to identify possible sources of reinfection.
