Emma comes into the pharmacy to ask for advice about her eczema. She says that her skin is dry, often inflamed and itchy and sensitive to change. She would like to know what you could recommend as she is having a flare-up at the moment, and has more patches of affected skin on her hands, face and scalp.
Go through the following steps in order to help you decide what products to recommend and what advice you could give Emma.
Once you have completed this exercise, proceed to the next screen to test your knowledge with our dry skin mini quiz.

Diprobase Eczema Cream
CORRECT - Diprobase Eczema Cream can be recommended for itchy, red, sore skin to help hydrate and soothe it.

Diprobase Ointment
INCORRECT - Although this could be recommended, Diprobase Ointment might be more suitable for raw, damaged skin. If Emma's skin is showing any signs of being infected, she should be referred to her GP for appropriate treatment.
