Signposting customers for further support

Customers can get further information and support from the National Eczema Society www.eczema.org

There may be customers that you need to refer to their GP. These customers include those whose symptoms do not respond to over-the-counter treatment, as well as customers who have symptoms indicating that they may have infected eczema.

Signs and symptoms of infected eczema include:9

    Swollen skin or skin that is more painful than usual

    Fluid oozing from the skin and/or a yellow crust on the skin

    A high temperature or generally feeling unwell
