Alcohol misuse: part two

This module is the second in our CPPE series looking at the role of the pharmacy team in supporting people with alcohol problems. It will look at alcohol as a drug and how it effects the body, as well as the longer term impact of alcohol misuse on mental and physical health.

Learning objectives:

• Be able to describe the extent and nature of problems relating to alcohol
• Understand the Government strategy documents and policies that relate to alcohol
• Be aware of the UK alcohol guidelines.
