Immunisation in pharmacies

Welcome to our module looking at immunisation. It is based on the CPPE distance learning programme on Immunisation in pharmacies: developing your service, and is designed to give pharmacy technicians an overview and better understanding of this area of practice.

• Be able to explain the role of community pharmacy in providing an immunisation service 
• Be aware of the practicalities of setting up an immunisation service in community pharmacy
• Understand how to maximise opportunities and overcome challenges in the set up and running of the service.
