Self-described 'luxury pharmacy' John Bell & Croyden has announced the launch of a private medicated weight loss service that it says will take a multidisciplinary approach to weight management.
The pharmacy said the service will provide access to a team of pharmacists and nutritionists that will "work closely with each individual" to develop a personalised plan "that extends beyond medication to encompass dietary guidance, lifestyle adjustments, and consistent in-person support".
A booking form on the pharmacy's website indicates that the medications Mounjaro, Orlistat, Wegovy and Liraglutide will be offered through the service.
P3pharmacy has approached the business to learn how much patients will be charged for the service, which is available face-to-face at the pharmacy's Wigmore Street address in central London.
General manager Alexander Johnstone commented: "We believe that true wellbeing is achieved through a balanced and integrated approach," says Alexander Johnston, General Manager at John Bell & Croyden.
"Our new medicated weight loss service is designed to address the unique needs and aspirations of each patient, moving beyond a one-size-fits-all model.
"By combining the latest advancements in medicated weight loss with the invaluable insights of our nutritionists and the trusted guidance of our pharmacists and healthcare professionals, we are committed to helping our clients achieve lasting results and a healthier, more balanced lifestyle."
