Pet health is a category that may not be top of mind within community pharmacy, but is one that has become much more predominant over the last few years. A total of 89% of England's population only have to walk up to 20 minutes to access a community pharmacy², and many of these hold 100-hour contracts, so they are more accessible than ever before. This paves the way for pet owners to use pharmacy as their first port of call for pet health products.
