The role of pharmacy
As summer comes to an end and school starts, pharmacy teams can help parents with advice and treatment on parasites. Head lice are very common in children aged seven to 11 and many parents can be unsure how to treat them effectively. The pharmacy team is ideally placed to dispel myths and advise on the products available and efficient methods to treat and remove these parasites. But remember to be sensitive in your conversations with customers as they may well feel embarrassed.
