The first three key principles are about you:

1. Believe in yourself

If you want to be a pharmacy entrepreneur, you must believe in yourself and what you can achieve. An entrepreneur is willing to back his or her judgement with action and hard work. They will have done their research and worked out that the probability of being successful is greatly weighted in their favour.

They think positively, but at the same time are realists and will work hard to achieve their goals. Once you commit, you must have the self-belief to go through with it. Being willing to make corrective changes is fine, but doubting your own ability will most probably result in failure.

It is very much like a game of golf. You don't doubt your ability half way through a golf swing. You follow through and see the ball hit the target.

2. Only do what you enjoy

The golden rule is that you must enjoy what you do. In any business, your personal satisfaction and financial rewards will always depend on what you put into it. If you don't enjoy what you are doing then you will never succeed. Approach your business like a hobby and not a chore.

3. Think positively

Having a positive mental attitude in business is a must. A positive attitude breeds positive actions and sends positive messages to others.

This in turn helps empower every member of your team. It is also important for your business to portray a positive image in the community it serves.
