A four-step process

There are four distinct stages to successfully managing a project (Figure 1). In summary, they are:

Define – Decide on the scope of the project, its objectives and outcomes
Develop – Consider options, plan resources and timing, develop a clear plan
Deliver – Implement with enthusiasm and energy
Evaluate – Monitor progress and measure the success of your plan and adjust as necessary.
