Clarityn® contains the antihistamine loratadine, which relieves allergy symptoms by blocking the action of histamine.

Clarityn® Allergy Tablets
Relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis and itching and redness of the skin.
Adults:
One tablet once daily.
Children 6 years of age and older with a body weight greater than 30kg:
One tablet once daily.
For appropriate dosing in children younger than 6 years or with body weight of 30kg or less, there are other more suitable formulations available.
Children under 2 years of age:
Safety and efficacy of Clarityn® Allergy Tablets have not been established.

Clarityn® Allergy Syrup
Relieves symptoms of allergic rhinitis and itching and redness of the skin.
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
10ml (10mg) of the syrup once daily.
Children 2 - 12 years are dosed by weight:
Body weight more than 30kg:
10ml (10mg) of syrup once daily.
Body weight 30kg or less:
5ml (5mg) of syrup once daily.
Children under 2 years of age:
Safety and efficacy of Clarityn® Allergy Syrup have not been established.
Clarinaze®
Clarinaze® contains mometasone furoate, which is a topical steroid. It has local anti-inflammatory properties and helps reduce inflammation in the nose.
Clarinaze® is the only non-prescription mometasone furoate product available to purchase in the pharmacy and healthcare aisle.

Clarinaze® Allergy Control Nasal Spray
is used for the symptomatic relief of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis
Adults aged 18 years and over:
The usual recommended dose is two sprays in each nostril once a day. Once symptoms are controlled, dose reduction to one spray in each nostril once a day may be effective for maintenance. Dose reduction is recommended following control of symptoms.
Should not be used by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Clarinaze® Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray
is indicated for use in adults to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (sneezing, itchy and runny nose, nasal congestion and associated sinus discomfort)
Adults aged 18 years and over:
The usual recommended dose is two sprays in each nostril once daily. Once symptoms are controlled, dose reduction to one spray in each nostril may be effective for maintenance. Dose reduction is recommended following control of symptoms.
Should not be used by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Red flag symptoms
Signs of a serious allergic reaction that may need immediate treatment include:10
Lips, mouth, throat or tongue suddenly become swollen
Breathing becomes very fast or customer is struggling to breathe
Throat feels tight or customer is struggling to swallow
Skin, tongue or lips turn blue, grey or pale (if they have black or brown skin, this may be easier to see on the palms of their hands or the soles of their feet)
Suddenly becoming very confused, drowsy or dizzy
Fainting and can’t be woken up
A child is limp, floppy or not responding like they normally do (their head may fall to the side, backwards or forwards or they may find it difficult to lift their head or focus on your face).
Customers may also have a rash that is swollen, raised or itchy.
