NHS Choices has a comprehensive section on health abroad24and specific information about travel vaccinations.3 Similarly, NHS Scotland and Health Protection Scotland offer advice via fitfortravel25 including country specific information, as does Travel Health Pro, the travel health resources of the National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC).26 This also has a specifically focused site, the Yellow Fever Zone.27
The Government website www.gov.uk provides foreign travel advice, including health and security risks, for 225 countries and territories.28
The National Pharmacy Association's travel vaccine information is in two resources:29
· 'Travel vaccines: practical guidance' giving advice on information to obtain from travellers and factors to consider before making recommendations for travel vaccines;
· 'Travel vaccines: vaccine information' with information such as the primary course, booster requirements and excipients of individual brands of vaccines.
