1. As a pharmacy professional, you have a responsibility to remain confident and current in safeguarding. Make sure that you know who to contact if you need to raise or discuss a safeguarding concern.

2. Consider levenorgestrel, ulipristal and copper IUD and make a list of:

• The efficacy of each method
• The advantages and disadvantages for each method
• How soon after UPSI each method needs to be used
• Contraindications for each method
• Information to discuss with the patient for each method
• The incidence of common side effects of each method.

You might want to present this information in a table and keep it to hand in the pharmacy to use as reference guide.
