Community pharmacies have played an important role during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing services and information when it was often difficult for people to access other healthcare services. As a result, many more people have come to realise what a valuable resource the community pharmacy is. 

We shall almost certainly have to learn to live with Covid-19, probably as a seasonal disease, and so community pharmacies, as providers of accessible healthcare, will continue to have an important role in clarifying information for patients, debunking misinformation and providing vaccinations.

There have now been thousands of publications relating to Covid-19 and so using reputable, factual and up-to-date sources of information is crucial so that the most appropriate advice can be passed onto customers and patients.
