An Essex contractor has secured a £900,000 loan to buy a second pharmacy in his local area.
Sandeep Parimi, who owns Maylands Pharmacy in Hornchurch, plans to offer “essential community and NHS services” at the newly acquired pharmacy, which he is buying with financing from Metro Bank.
“I’m really excited to see our ambitions grow to become reality,” said Mr Parimi.
Metro Bank’s Mark Davies said: “Pharmacies play such an important role in local communities, providing essential NHS services and helping to alleviate pressure on GP surgeries.
“I’m happy to see this deal complete and proud that these essential services will be protected.”
James Yates, healthcare business development manager at FTA Finance which acted as a broker, commented: “It’s been a pleasure supporting Maylands Pharmacy on this journey and we are pleased to have been able to work with Metro Bank on this transaction.
“A great example of how tailored financial solutions can empower local businesses to grow and thrive.”
