Type 2 diabetes: part two

This module is the second in our CPPE series looking at the role of the pharmacy team in supporting people with type 2 diabetes. It will look at the individualised care approach to type 2 diabetes, pharmacological management and drug classes to treat the condition.

Learning objectives:

• Understand the importance of an individualised approach to type 2 diabetes treatment
• Have an understanding of the different factors to consider in tailoring pharmacological management plans
• Be aware of the different drugs and drug classes available to treat type 2 diabetes.
