Significantly, what is merely challenging to some can be incredibly stressful to others. Here we have considered that stress describes the feelings we have when we feel overloaded and unable to meet all the demands placed upon us. That is not to say that a bit of pressure isn't good for you.

Some pressure is inevitable, but it's important to recognise the difference between pressure and stress. Problems tend to arise when the pressure you are under is more than you are able to cope with.
